For those that are like “what?” it is instinct for a cat to stop moving when picked up by the scruff of the neck, as that’s how a mother cat gets her kittens places.

Whoa, that is really cool!

I guess what’s amazing is that even if it ain’t a kitten anymore, the cat still recognizes that it should ‘deactivate’ when that gesture’s done. :)

I always grab the cat by its nape to diffuse it when it’s hell-bent on murdering my leg, but I never thought of doing it with the clip. I must try it later.
